The Cousins Meet Baby Arthur

The children got to meet their newest cousin, Arthur Patrick, at grandma and grandpa's house in early May.  Everyone was so excited to get to see him and to hold him.  I think it's beautiful that even children who have had their fair share of holding little babies (like those who have had 3-4 younger siblings) see that new life is a blessing every single time.

Crowding around the infant carrier after they arrived...getting a first peek.

Evie wants him...
First snuggles...
Xavier would be our family's "baby hog."  When everyone else is done rocking, he'll come around again.  Definitely treasures life.
Ameliya's turn.
I stopped Theo and Zayden's wild play long enough for Zayden to acknowledge Arthur's presence.  His loyalty remains to his buddy so far (wink).
Evie wanted Arthur for her own dolly.  We won't leave him to play on the floor unattended before we do a bit more training with lil mama.
Uncle Mike waited all day for his turn.  He loves fresh little babies, too.
Gigi stole her snuggle, too.  Such a sweetheart.

The next Sunday - more snugs.
Boy does Evie love this babe.  She looks for him on our digital picture frame (not that I'm on top of things enough to have pics of him loaded yet) and identifies every baby as "baby Arfor."
Uh, Arthur....that's my grandma.  All right, I'll just hold the baby then, grandma.
Easy Lenny...
Welcome to our wild, Arthur Patrick.  We are loud and we are sometimes crazy, but we love you so much already.
