Xavier's 7th Birthday!

Seven seems so old!

As I do once a year, I rolled out cinnamon rolls for my eldest son's birthday breakfast.  Someday he'll have a wife to do that for him (wink), but for now, it's my privilege.
Day Camp happened to fall on Xavier's birthday and he decided he wanted to go, so he and dad, along with a couple of friends, headed out after breakfast for a day of fun.

A new shirt at the breakfast table for the birthday kid is a family tradition we've started...

Daddy sent me a couple of pictures from camp!

When they got home from camp, we had tenderloins and the fixings for supper (per the birthday boy's request), and then it was time for presents and dessert!
Xavier didn't ask for much for his birthday, but was a lot of fun to shop for.  I got him a pair of pliers and a plier holder for his belt and his dad got him a pocket knife.
 He was really happy!

 Learning all about his knife.

We also got him an odometer/speedometer for his bicycle.

This was a strange gift but turned out to be a lot of fun!  A fish and game table to play water in.

 McCormick Natural Food Dye for the win.  Such bright colors!
 {gluten free cookie for this guy}
Happy happy birthday, sweet son of ours.  Everyday we see you shrugging off the last of your little boy-ness, and striving to become a little man.  We're so proud of you and love you very much.
