Moving Along

Our 2nd little one is growing right along! I feel him/her move more and more, very squirmy especially at nighttime. I'm getting to that fat and sassy stage which is both exciting (almost 1/2 done!) and exhausting at the same time! I'm beginning to imagine who is baking in there...be it my second daughter or my first son. I'm leaning towards "girl" but I think my opinion is persuaded by the fact that my entire special education case load (less one girl who comes in for 15 min & 1 very tomboyish kindergarten girl) is little boys. 6 little boy preschoolers to be exact, & 6 K-3 grade boys. So at the end of the day I'm exhausted from underdeveloped, little boy testosterone and I delight in my little girl dressed in pink. But if you are a boy, dear baby 2, I'll love you all the same, because you'll be mine. You'll be the spitting image of your daddy, just like daddy is the image of his father. And if you are a girl, I'll have quite the pair of ladies to live with and we'll outnumber daddy 3 to 1!
Whoever you are, I'm growing to love you and am excited to meet you. You are ours and you'll make our family all the more perfect! We're glad you decided to come along just now, when we didn't know we needed you but you were certain we did!
