Last night in her cradle...this is the cradle that Daddy slept in when he was a baby. She was just getting a little too wild in there, so after she fell asleep Mommy picked her up and put her...
...into her pack-n-play for the first time. Yes, she has a beautiful crib, but our room is upstairs and hers is down, which means something could get to her without going through me first. Don't ask me when she's moving down to her own room. She naps in there during the day when we are home but she may be a teenager before we let her stay down there alone at night!(notice how in the 2nd picture she threw her hands up in the air...ahhhh, so much space!)

Gotta love a sleeping baby. Levi was very old when when we moved him to his crib. I can't remember exactly when but he barely fit in his bassinet.

How I love pictures of sleeping babies - I must have taken a hundred of my daughters. How special to have a cradle used by her dad and by her. And, how bittersweet that she has grown a bit too large to stay in it. Enjoy these days!

she is a sweetie my daughter never slept in her crib! To this day she still prefers sleeping as close to me as possible. It has been just us two since she was 8 mos. She just turned 12

That is way cool that she is sleeping in a cradle that was her Daddy's....my girls used a white, wicker bassinet that my sister and I both used! Happy ATWT!
ahhh so sweet, I love sleeping babies and she is gorgeous. I hear you about wanting to keep a close eye when they are sleeping I am still that way w/ my 3yo.
There is not much more heart warming than seeing a sleeping baby. She is precious.

Hey! I am just about to post a blog about great baby products and the seahorse is one of my favorite. I have used it every night with Johnny and he goes to sleep instantly. I'm sort of jealous that babies get all these cool toys!
My oldest had her dad's bassinet when she was just born, so precious! I love the hands up!!
