22 weeks with Baby #5
Overall I'm feeling pretty well. Some days are hard, some days are easier - just like when you aren't expecting.
She is growing and very active and I think we are narrowing down names!
Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday was really calm since we did Easter bucket celebrations on Saturday morning.
Mike was playing for both worship services so the kids and I got ready and headed in to join him for breakfast between services.
Our oldest darling got in the van and when I walked out I realized she'd put on a little make-up before we left. I started to protest and then noticed that she looked lovely and had done a good job. So as we say in 2019...lipstick on point. Growing up...
And that dress....with those glasses....
I know people are tired of hearing this but this girl...from last year to this year. Forever thankful.
I don't know what to do with this one...
After breakfast and worship we went to Mike's family's Easter celebration.
I did a poor job taking candid photos at the egg hunt and stuff - wind and counting eggs got me overwhelmed - ha - but we did get a good family picture!
We were missing one great grandkid so we did a Beeler/Paredes picture with Great Grandma Betty.
We egg hunted at Aunt Penny's, then egg hunted at Aunt Marcia's, and as I type the kids are sorting "loot" and my floor is covered and it's the sweetest kind of mess because I reminded how many people choose to love our children. As we grow in number and in noise and in chaos the choice to love us is all the sweeter and doesn't go unnoticed. (#alltherunonsentences)

Mr. Almost Too Cool for Pictures But Scared to Disobey Mommy (wink)
He's a good sport.

Easter at Papa Curtis's and Grandma Num's
Lauren had to work on Easter Sunday and couldn't join in the festivities of the day so we all got together at mom and dad's Saturday for our own little Easter (minus Colby, because apparently teenagers work - Gigi isn't a fan). I love days like that, where there is no where else to be and we can just enjoy each other's company.
The kids played hard, we ate delicious food, and we got a LOT of gorgeous, beautiful, vitamin D sunshine (some of us I got a little crispy and have regrets).
Best friends....

What will I do with this ham bone?
Zayden taught Theo to blow bubbles.
Uncle Vance gave rides on Monty...
Easter Egg Hunting! Each kid had a color to find - that simplifies it a lot for little people!
Papa, Emma, Natalee, and Xavier went fishing while the little boys laid down for rests which left Mia alone. She didn't know what to do as an only child. Ha. So she shook and checked all her eggs with Nannie and drew with sidewalk chalk, and got absolutely disgustingly dirty as all healthy little girls should.
Colors of clothes Mia should wear - black, brown, or black and brown stripes. LOL
It was a really great day with really great people. When we got home Daddy finished the trampoline assembly and everyone had a good jump before sponging off and crashing for the night!

Easter Morning 2019
Mike was playing guitar for both services at worship on Easter morning, so we decided to do "Easter buckets" on Saturday morning instead of Sunday. The rush of bucket goodies and getting 4 kids and myself ready for service alone on Sunday was not at all appealing to me.
Ha.
A couple of weeks ago the kids' trampoline broke. We've gotten 7 years of HARD mileage out of it, including 3 years of daycare, never taking it down for winter, weather, or the like, so we feel like we got our money out of it and we gifted the kids a new one Saturday. Zayden was especially appreciative - he missed the old one dearly.
Books in the big kids' buckets - puzzles for the little 2.
Outside to check out the pod chair and wish someone had magically assembled the trampoline overnight. Ha. Eating nutty buddies for breakfast because....oh well.
Papa Phil and Miguel came over and helped Daddy get most of the trampoline done before we headed out for the day. Thanks, guys!

It was a good morning. The kids were surprised because they weren't expecting anything and we had time to enjoy things without a flurry of activity to get ready for church. Easter bucket Saturday might become a thing for the Beelers.
