Zayden Ditches the Training Wheels! {& Mia Moves Up a Size!}

Today Zayden was speeding around on his bike and I said, "you know, you ought to just take those training wheels off."  He was barely using them when he rode.  Without hesitation, he said, "okay!" and big brother helped him take them off.  Off he went and now he's a speed demon and a daredevil!

It took him just a bit to find his balance, but he's strong as an ox so it didn't surprise me at all that he took off like a shot.
It's fun to watch Zayden ride because he's honestly not scared.  He fell two dozen times today and could have cared less - half the time he made himself fall just for fun.  Like I said - daredevil.
We're excited for you, Zayden!  Way to go, big guy!

Mia also decided that she was brave enough to take over Xavier's 18" fat tire bike.  She's been trying it out and getting more comfortable on it and asked Xabe today if she could "bling it out" with her set he bought her for Christmas.  The 16" bike she bought for $15 this summer was worth every penny because it gave her time to grow and build a lot of confidence.
Daddy's putting on the spokey-dokes.
Pretty sweet ride!

And just for the cuteness.....a picture of almost 7 year old Xavier on that bike the second day he got it.
