We celebrated Christmas with the Tallmans at Grandpa and Grandma's on Christmas day.
Artie came in and first thing wanted to show me what Santa brought him. It's the Ziplock bag on his foot as he dropped it to get out his toys, kept walking, and hooked it with his foot but never paused, that sends me giggling.
Evie loves that Nannie and Lauren make her fancy drinks. Aunt Lauren fulfilled the mission for Christmas. We had brunch before stockings.
Grandma & Papa are in the middle of adding a huge family room onto their house and the day was warm enough that we were all able to sit out there and do stockings and gifts. It was amazing - truly a blessing.
I mean the space - phenomenal...we had to scoot our chairs in towards each other.
A money bomb from Nannie to pay for Amazon Music for the family for another year. <3 They unanimously decided they love that gift.
Mia did a fashion show of some of Emma's dresses from high school Everyone needs an Emma hype gal in their life.
We had soups and delicious other foods for casual afternoon eating.
Lots of games and playing into the late evening!
Nannie got the gold star game award of the evening.
In my defense, I played Rummikub, but Mexican Train is too much sitting for me - ha.
What a great day. Both of my folks have dealt with heart issues in 2025. Mom in the summer, and dad narrowly avoiding a heart attack and having 2 stents just the week before Christmas. We all knew we had so much to be grateful for this year and we are that - so thankful. For time, for each other, for the ability to make memories.
Thank you, Lord, for all of us gathered in one place. For health and joy and time. What gifts.
