Our four oldest children made some sweet summer memories at church camp. Additionally, our teens served our week of VBS, on a mission trip to a camp for people with special needs, and Xavier spent two weeks serving at church camp. A summer of learning, growing, serving, loving.
One of Xavier's weeks of June volunteering was while Mia and Zayden were campers, which I loved. This was their first time doing a full week.
Drop off crew....we had a couple hours between check in for our teen FORGE volunteers and our campers.
The campers settled in so well and all reports pointed to a wonderful week!
Mia and Zayden had a wonderful week and made tons of great memories!
Xavier really enjoyed his time serving!
Forge week 1 drop off...
The high schoolers went to camp mid July.

End of the week...
There are so many beautiful moments and memories from camp but they really aren't mine to share. I'm always thankful for our kids to have these opportunities, though.
A few pictures from the teens' mission trip to Camp Daniel in Wisconsin. I don't want to post any photos with our kids' campers in them (they were each responsible for a specific camper) but there are some fun ones of our team.
Early morning send off...
Big sis and her little brother -
Sweet matching friends, ready to serve!
training...
more training and waiting for their campers on Monday...
And then a week of serving - of digging deep, dying to self, and loving well.
So thankful for Shannon's updates and for our youth sponsors who went and took care of a camper and our kids.
Formal night...
It's such a joy to hear reports of how well our youth serve. What a testimony they are to the God they proclaim.
