Easter at Papa and Grandma Num's

Easter Sunday was busy so we decided to do a family celebration at my folks' the Sunday following.  Lunch, family time, and an Easter egg hunt.

 No fun is complete without motorcycle rides!  What a treat for the kids!

 

 I got to take a turn with Zayden!

Unfortunately our dolly had the flu and she had to miss the festivities.  She was sick for a solid 3 days and took a week+ to recover.  Such a bad virus.

New Do's for the Big Kids

Zayden wasn't the only one to get a new hair-do yesterday.  I got mine trimmed, and Natalee and Xavier got theirs chopped.  Natalee was going for a trim and totally 360'd at the last minute.  She wanted it all above her ears but I was struggling with that, so we compromised with a darling little bob cut.  She's excited to not have to have a ponytail under her ball helmet.  

Bonus picture of our girl in her new hammock.  It's a regular hammock but we hung it from swing hooks so it makes a cocoon chair.  My sister, Andrea, suggested this, and it's working really well.  Sensory win...She sat in it to do an entire math final test and she's enjoying sitting in there to read.

Xavier toyed with having his completely shaved but decided just a short cut.  She scissor cut him on top, and clippered the back.

 Handsome.  He's looking and acting older every single day.

Big Boy Haircut

Zayden Sam needed a new 'do.  His hair was out of control.  Proof...

 

 He did look adorable in a ponytail, though.

He actually had his first hair cut in December, right before Christmas, but it grew fast and was thick.  We went back to Natalie and Abby and they fixed him right up!

Now that his hair isn't in his eyes, he seems to use them especially expressively.  Oh boy...

Happy 3rd Birthday, Ameliya!

Our sweet girl turned 3!  Her celebration began with a little family party the Sunday before her birthday. 

  

 

Mia also had some presents a couple weeks before her birthday.  Lucky girl!

Daddy stayed home on Ameliya's actual birthday, which is always a treat to all the children (and me!).  We had a fun day of celebration, presents, and meals all picked by the birthday girl!

 She chose chicken nuggets and mac and cheese for lunch - health nut.
