LuLaBuddy

My sister, Andrea, hosted an in home LuLaRoe party tonight.  Grandma Num had decided to treat Miss Natalee to a pair of these delightful butter soft leggings *just because* and Natalee was anxiously awaiting the party and the chance to get to choose a pair herself!  She had saved some money from birthday and housework and took it along, too, and I told her that I'd help her if she needed extra to get a shirt so she could have an outfit.  This was quite a treat for our girl, since most of the clothes in this house come from the blessing of hand-me-downs or retail stores, not sweet little in home boutiques.
Natalee chose two pairs of leggings to try on.  One she deemed too tight (they were the same size-chuckle) and the other pair had a top we found to match, so they won out!
She's adorable, and looking oh-so-grown-up.  {In this photo Natalee is wearing tween leggings and a Gracie top.  She has lots of room to grow in the top, for certain and plenty in the leggings.}  We discovered after she'd settled on her outfit that she can also wear the one size adult leggings - they are big but the leggings overall are so forgiving that you can just fold or bunch in a couple places and off you go.  Once we realized this I asked Natalee if she wanted to review the one size rack of leggings to see if there was something she liked better but she didn't.  However, the consultant, our cousin Shayna, gave away a pair of leggings to an attendee and sweet Natalee WON.  Mom picked out these adorable one size brown bear brown bear leggings for her -
unless she tells me tomorrow that she hates them (because I couldn't ask her tonight - because it's midnight - so she's sleeping - in her new LuLaRoe - don't judge us).
Tonight was a good night.  My girl and I did something very "grown-upish" and we had a wonderful time.  We shopped like gal pals, and Natalee was very flexible in trying things on and having fun.  For part of the night we sat double in Nannie's chaise chair and just visited, catching up, and having a little snuggle up.  Yep.  Tonight was a good night.
