World Autism Awareness Day

If you know me, you know how closely I hold children with autism in my heart. I love their individual personalities...the different things that make them unique but that put them under the same autistic umbrella. Today is World Autism Awareness Day...2 years ago this month the children and community of Schuyler County raised over $2600 when we held our Puzzle Rally. Although I'm no longer there, the equipment that we purchased with that money is. Oh how I hope it's getting used to its full potential.

One of my favorite Thousand Word Thursday bloggers, Colleen, who has 2 special needs children, posted a wonderful picture of her ever so sweet son, who has autism. Check it out and leave her a comment knowing that awareness was spread to you today!!!
